Getting Started
New teams are walked through a short onboarding wizard at /onboarding. It gets your workspace ready to run agents in a few minutes. Progress is saved as you go, so you can leave and resume where you left off.
The four steps
1. Create your workspace
If you don't already belong to a team, the wizard first asks you to name your workspace and creates it. Everything you build lives inside this team. (See Teams & Roles.)
2. Connect an AI provider
Choose how the platform reaches a model. Two methods are supported:
- API key — pick a provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, or OpenRouter) and paste your key. Stored as a team provider credential.
- Custom endpoint — point FleetQ at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint with a name, base URL, optional API key, and a comma-separated list of model names. The base URL is validated before it's saved.
This step can be skipped and configured later in Team Settings.
3. Set a monthly budget cap
Set a monthly spending cap for the team. This guards against runaway cost from automated runs. See Platform Credits & Cost for how usage is metered.
4. Seed templates & finish
Optionally seed a set of starter agent templates into your workspace, then finish. Once onboarding is complete you're taken to the dashboard.
Founder Mode
Instead of starting from blank templates, you can pick a Founder Mode challenge — validate an idea, build an MVP, get first customers, raise funding, or scale operations. Each challenge installs a matching workflow pack and drops you straight into a runnable workflow pre-filled with your one-line context.
Bootstrap from a description
You can also describe your business in plain language and have FleetQ generate a starter workflow draft for you. The wizard makes a single LLM call to turn your description into a draft workflow, which you can open and refine or discard.
