Teams & Roles
Every FleetQ account belongs to a Team. All agents, experiments, skills, and credentials are team-scoped — members of different teams cannot see each other's data.
Team roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access. Manage billing, delete team, invite/remove members, manage API tokens and credentials. |
| Admin | Create/edit/delete all resources. Manage members (except other owners). Cannot manage billing. |
| Member | Create and update agents, skills, experiments, workflows. Cannot delete resources or manage team settings. |
| Viewer | Read-only access. Can view all resources and the assistant in read mode. Cannot create or modify anything. |
Inviting members
Go to Team Settings → Members and click Invite Member. Enter the email address and select a role. An invitation email is sent with a secure token link.
Invitation links expire after 7 days. Pending invitations are listed on the Team Settings page and can be cancelled at any time before acceptance.
Multiple teams
A single user account can belong to multiple teams (e.g. a consultant working with several clients). Use the team switcher in the app header to switch between teams. Each team has independent billing, data, and settings.
Team-scoped API tokens
API tokens are scoped to a specific team. A token created in Team A cannot be used to access Team B's resources — even if the user is a member of both. Create tokens in Team Settings → API Tokens.
# Create a team API token
curl -X POST https://fleetq.net/api/v1/team/tokens \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN" \
-d '{"name": "CI/CD Pipeline Token", "abilities": ["read", "write"]}'
